with her family, and draw portraits and character sketches. Being home-educated by her Mom gave her time to cultivate her love for traditional art and illustrating. Her love for Christ influences and drives her to work to glorify Him through her art. Q: What tools do you use for your digital illustrations?

A: iPad, Apple Pencil, and the Procreate app!

Q: How long have you been drawing?

A: I have been drawing and sketching since I was little. In 2018 I offered to help out at a wedding and was then asked to live sketch the guest's portraits. There were several guests that I was unable to get to, so I had them write down their addresses and I shipped them off later. That's when I decided to open my shop with custom Ink Portraits.

Q: Did you go to art school?

A: I did not go to art school, I am self taught! I have learned through referencing artists and illustrators I like and experimentation. I have also benefited from my Dad's advice from his years of experience in Art school.

Q: Do you illustrate books?

A: I have only illustrated personal project so far. But I am open to free lance illustration work! Feel free to reach out to me if you're interested via my contact page.

Q: What inspires your art/art style?

A: My art style is diverse. Most of my inspiration has come from mid 20th century illustrations, classic Disney films, and a bit of classic traditional art. As a kid I was inspired by the children's books I loved and their artists like Steven Kellogg, Eric Carl, Richard Scarry, Jan Brett, Alexandra Day, and Renee Graef.

As I got older I was inspired and influenced by artists like Norman Rockwell, Carl Rungus, and Mary Blair. And more recently inspired by artists I've found through Instagram.
